For this workshop task, we had to imagine a world in which our topic did not exist - a world in which language doesn't exist. To the left is an advertisement moodboard I created for the new, amazing discovery known as language. I found this task really hard. My main topic is now lost languages and it does ask the question - what if we lose all languages? but seeing this idea pictured out was confusing, and kind of put me off going ahead with it. A world without languages suddenly seemed so far-fetched. While it was fun, it didn't give me too many extra ideas for moving forward.
